Comments on the Virginia Draft State Rail Plan

The Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (Va DRPT) released a DRAFT State Rail Plan July 14, 2008, with an comment period until August 25, 2008. A copy of the draft plan as issued by DRPT may be found at their website.

On August 23, the Virginia Rail Policy Institute submitted its comments on the Plan draft to DRPT as mark-ups to and comments on the DRPT plan. You may read/download those comments below. The components below are a complete copy of the DRPT plan, with VRPI notes and comments, as PDF documents.
